Josh’s first Parkour experience was an interesting one. He stumbled upon the Leicester practitioners during their weekly outdoor strength training (which carried a bit of a reputation in the Parkour community for being pretty gruelling!). Instead of being put off by what he saw, Josh jumped right in and got involved! That was in 2010, he’s been hooked on the discipline ever since.
Josh began coaching in 2013 and relishes passing on his knowledge and experience to new generations of practitioners. The local community is very important to Josh and he feels privileged to help it grow by reciprocating the welcome the community has given him.
Josh is a big fan of learning. He’s an Engineering graduate with expertise in programming and image analysis and is also very knowledgeable in training for strength, conditioning and mobility. He’s a big fan of board sports, gigs and computer games, possibly spending a bit too much time on the latter.
